Discovery House Announces Winner of the 2025 Chopper of Hope Motorcycle
Penticton, BC — Discovery House is thrilled to announce that Robb Perkinson is the official
winner of the 2025 Chopper of Hope motorcycle. The custom-built chopper, created as a
fundraising project to support addiction recovery services at Discovery House, drew
widespread community excitement throughout the campaign.
Upon learning he had won, Robb shared a heartfelt message expressing his appreciation:
“I am truly shocked and beyond thrilled at being the winner of the Chopper of Hope. Wow—
unbelievable. Thank you so much. When I first saw the Chopper of Hope in Gyro Park, I was
amazed at the beauty and detail of the bike, and when I heard of the Discovery House
charity, I knew I had to buy a ticket. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a
worthy charity as Discovery House—and of course, so excited and proud to be the winner of
such an extraordinary work of art and power. I wish to extend my gratitude and heartfelt
thanks to everyone involved.”
The Chopper of Hope project brought together local businesses, volunteers, and supporters
across the South Okanagan, raising critical funds that will expand recovery services for men
seeking help. Discovery House Executive Director Blaine Russell shared his gratitude:
“This entire campaign has shown the incredible heart of our community. Every ticket
purchased, every sponsor who stepped forward, every volunteer hour—together, it all
made a real impact. Robb’s message captures exactly why we do this work.”
Discovery House extends its sincere thanks to all sponsors, supporters, event partners, and
community members who made the Chopper of Hope project a success. The next project
supporting recovery services is already in development.
