A Celebration of Recovery, Family, and Community

“Our mission has always been to return fathers to their children and sons to their families,” says Blaine Russell, Executive Director of Discovery House.

“This event is our way of honouring the hard work of our residents in recovery—and strengthening the bonds with the community that walks alongside them.”

Since 2007, Discovery House has grown to include three recovery residences right here in Penticton. Despite limited government support, the program thrives thanks to the unwavering generosity of local donors and community champions.

“We’re incredibly proud to be part of a community that continues to show up with heart,” adds Russell. “Addiction touches countless lives. This day reminds us that recovery is possible—not just for the men doing the work, but for the families who get their loved ones back.”
