Thanks to the United Way

Thanks to the United Way of the Southern Interior BC for the $9000 grant to cover 1/4 of the subsidized cost of a treatment bed at Discovery House for one year!

The United Way has supported the Discovery House Recovery Program with yearly grant funding for the past 14 years! They have also provided support for Strategic Planning and most recently a $15,000 grant to work with coaching company Purppl to start a Social Enterprise business.

Soon we'll be offering take away meals prepared through our cooking and gardening program that will help subsidize the cost of treatment for some of the most marginalized and vulnerable people in our community, plus provide clients with employment & skills they can use for life. Thanks to the contribution from the United Way!
