Family Fun on Father's Day Virtual Event on June 21st

Updated: Dec 3, 2020

More info to come soon! Help us continue to: "Return Fathers to Children and Sons to Families" at our Family Fun on Father's Day Virtual Event.

Join us for an afternoon of family fun and entertainment. Everything is by donation to support the Discovery House recovery program.

We'll be having some children's events including a rock painting and family yoga class and lots of other prizes and surprises to be announced leading up to the event.

Of course we will be raising funds through our dunk tank participant pledges. We are still looking for participants but so far have a great line up of participants that you can pledge donations.

Participants (so far) include: 1) Penticton Mayor - John Vassilaki 2) Discovery House Executive Director - Jerome Abraham 3) Parker's Chrysler Sales Manager - Troy Antoniuk 4) VIP Mobile Spa Owner - Michelle Prystay 5) Discovery House Alumnus - Mike Beattie

We are still looking for dunk tank participants to raise funds and take the plunge. It's fun and the money goes to a great cause, so contact us if you'd like to help.

This year's event will be hosted online as a Facebook Live event due to the CoVid19 pandemic. We are hoping to raise $10,000 to help support an abstinence based recovery bed and treatment space for those who could not otherwise afford long-term treatment.

We provide long term abstinence based recovery services and life skills training at 3 homes in Penticton and subsidize approximately 75% of client care costs.

All donations over $20 will receive a tax deductible receipt.

To donate please e-transfer to prrs@shaw.ca or go to our Canadahelps page HERE.
